The Biology Laboratory provides a teaching facility for the first year programs in the biological sciences, jointly taught by academic staff of the School of Botany, the Department of Genetics and the Department of Zoology. A Director of First Year Studies in Biology is appointed to oversee the operation of the Biology Laboratory for the three departments. The facilities available in the Biology Laboratory are also utilised by later year subjects in the biological sciences. |
