Clarke, Adrienne Elizabeth (1938 - )

Clarke, a scientist with the Plant Cell Biology Research Centre at the University of Melbourne from 1982, received a Personal Chair in Botany at the University of Melbourne in 1985, and was appointed Laureate Professor 1 January 2000 - 31 December 2004.

Worked in department of medicine with Michael Denborough on an asthma project. Looking at blood group determinants and the complex carbohydrates secreted by the surface of the lung, and in gastric juices.
