Platinum

The growing world interest in platinum has stimulated exploration within Australia very strongly, and several possible alluvial and lode sources have been identified in the Northern Territory, WA, Qld, NSW and Tasmania. Association with gold in several instances will certainly increase the amount of by-product platinum group metals at present derived from nickel-copper concentrates.
