The Adoption of Solar Energy for Water HeatingThere has been a marked development in this field since the Second World War, which has led to extensive adoption in the tropics and a growing application in other parts of Australia. The applications to date have been most prominent in the fields of domestic hot water heating and the heating of swimming pools. This subject is treated more fully, in the Energy chapter of this volume.
