Description	This series documents the activities of the Development departments of the Pigments Plant at Laverton (ICIANZ) and Pigment Manufacturers of Australia Limited (PMA Ltd), and the Research and Development department (formed in 1989) of PMA Ltd. The majority of files in this series appear to be related to the work of D. R. Harris (referred to variously as Dick Harris or Richard Harris), who was for many years the Development Superindendent, and later the Development Manager, before being appointed head of the new Research and Development Department in 1989. Many of the items in this series were originally housed in suspension files. Where applicable, titles have been taken from the tabs on these files and the tabs retained with the items.
