The Georgina Sweet Fellowship in Economic Zoology is awarded to the candidate judged to have shown the highest ability and desire to purse research in some branch of Zoology which will promote the economic interest of the people of Australia. Preference is given to graduates in Science/Veterinary Science or Agricultural Science, who are graduates of the University of Melbourne. The Georgina Sweet Fellowship is awarded by a Committee comprising the Vice-Chancellor, the Deans of the Faculties of Science, Veterinary Science, and Agriculture and the Professor of Zoology. The value is determined annually and it is for one year with the possibility of a one year extension. |
