New Tasks And Projects The changes in the administrative arrangements, and consequent re-thinking referred to led inevitably to initiatives with specific Australian applications in mind. Research was conducted, and development undertaken in fields too numerous to describe in detail. Some short account is given later of Barra, the air-dropped sono-buoy and Jindalee, an over the horizon radar, and some others.
