Styrene monomer - the West Footscray petrochemical complex (continued)

BHP agreed to join the venture and a new company, Hydrocarbon Products Pty. Ltd. was formed to undertake the project. The plant began operation in 1977; the West Footscray Petrochemicals complex was established (Fig. 27).
