Description

Contains minutes from board meetings, staff meetings, management committee meetings, works council meetings and productivity improvement meetings, from the later years of the Imperial Chemical Industries of Australia and New Zealand Limited pigments plant at Laverton and the early years of Pigment Manufacturers of Australia Limited.

Titles for items in this series were handwritten on the suspension files holding each group of minutes. These suspension files were discarded during the archiving process. For an example, see the digital image attached to PMA0956 in this series.

The alpha-numeric codes from these suspension files and inscribed on most of the papers within relate to categories in the General Manager's filing system. For more information, see Series 4. The majority of minutes are also inscribed "Mr. H. A. Grayson" (Hugh A. Grayson - General Manager, c.1967-1980) or look to have been distributed to him.

Most of the documents in this item are inscribed or addressed to "Mr. H. A. Grayson".

Of the works council meeting minutes from June 1970 to September 1977, most are inscribed with the code H4. Of the papers from 1968 to April 1970, many are inscribed with the code H11, with others inscribed H4.

Also includes telegrams and memo congratulating the pigments plant on achieving one million accident free hours; minutes of the seventeeth ICIANZ annual general meeting; agenda and minutes of the sixteenth ICIANZ annual general meeting; and tables showing man-hours worked versus classified injuries.
