His teachers included Edwin Hills and Freddie Singleton, whose knowledge H. Trevor Clifford expressed respect for during the archiving process in 1997. Subject headings in handwritten notes include "History of Geology", "Mineralogy", "Irridescense", "Origin of Earth", etc. Class handouts include diagram entitled "The Formation of the Western Alps, Showing the Principal Stages of Development" (1916), "University of Melbourne - Geology Part 1 - Fossils Sheet 6", etc. Includes loose papers (foldered and unfoldered) and a workbook. The papers are in no discernable order, and most are undated. H. T. (Trevor) Clifford went on to a career as an academic botanist. The records in this series were among the papers he carried on his travels to England, Nigeria and Queensland.
