Dooley was a Principal Research Scientist at the Bureau of Mineral Resources from 1944-84. Earlier in his career he was a research student of Professor Laby at the University of Melbourne. In 1940 he went to the Commonwealth Solar Observatory , Mount Stromlo, where he undertook optical munitions work. |
