Dooley, James Creswell (Jim) (1919 - )

Born: 30 January 1919

Dooley was a Principal Research Scientist at the Bureau of Mineral Resources from 1944-84. Earlier in his career he was a research student of Professor Laby at the University of Melbourne. In 1940 he went to the Commonwealth Solar Observatory , Mount Stromlo, where he undertook optical munitions work.

Queen's Silver Jubilee Medal 1977.
