The Advanced Mineral Products Centre is a special Research Centre of the Australian Research Council (ARC). The Centre exploits existing expertise in colloid and surface science, interfacial continuum mechanics and rheology, all set within a process engineering framework. The centre aims to consolidate research and technological leadership to support the strategic goals of value-added products of the Australian minerals industry. The AMPC is multi-disciplinary in nature, combining skills of staff and students in the School of Chemistry and the Departments of Mathematics and Chemical Engineering.
