Abstract This is a guide to the records of Ronald William Cumming, an engineer and psychologist. He was a research scientist at the Aeronautical Research Laboratories 1941-1955 and a member of the Human Engineering Research Group 1956-1966 conducting early research on human factors in aviation and developing a visual method for aligning aircraft onto the correct glide path for landing.
