Members of the RAAF Meteorological Service were attached to the following units for lengthy periods:

  • Allied Air Headquarters, Brisbane

  • Area Headquarters, RAAF (Several)

  • Army Chemical Warfare Experimental Section, Melbourne and Innisfail

  • Army Liaison, Victoria Barracks, Melbourne

  • Mobile Meteorological Flights Nos 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6

  • Services Reconnaissance Detachments

There were also many short period attachments of RAAF Meteorological Service personnel to Allied formations.
